Interesting. Is it a boat or half a pair of slippers? I wish I knew the background of her inspirations for her art.

Christine does seem to savor abstract art. I like that. It means she is not defining herself by other’s standards or opinions.

This picture has accomplished something every artist tries to achieve; it has evoked emotion. Not sure if this is what she was trying to achieve but I get an almost overwhelming feeling of sadness; perhaps loneliness, isolation. It’s beautiful. You can tell most definitely it was done by a third grader yet she still emits emotion into her drawing. I love it

This looks almost good enough to eat! I only say almost because it’s clay so obviously I wouldn’t eat it

I am curious to know if what you were feeling that day influenced the drawing. The sharp angles, the bold lines and colors; there was thought and feelings behind this one.

Interesting. I will have to ask her to explain her choice of pattern.

This is very obviously the earth with either satellites or UFO’s in orbit. She demonstrated depth with her assigning green mosaic for land mass and blue for water mass. I love this.

From the brief description this was coloring outside so I am presuming they were drawing things that are outside. To me this looks like a beetle of some kind. Again, her attempt at detail is wonderful.

Beautiful Christmas lights abstract. It amazes me sometimes how much the artist she is becoming.

Wow. Just…wow.

Christine seems to have added her own flare to Kandinsky’s piece. I love that she creates “outside the box” to make this her own and not just a reproduction of the original.

This piece is outstanding considering the age of the artist! The lines, depths and details used are not what I would expect from her grade level. I will definitely be ordering this piece.
