Jo, I really love how the top definitely looks like mesh. I like the story you created for the pic too.

Lovely girl. Keep up the good stuff!

I can definitely see improvement in proportion from sketch to sketch. What are you learning about yourself through this series of developments?

I like the movement in this piece. I like that I can see the proportions you're using to get the look you want. Well done.

This is fun! Love this. You need to make and sell T-shirts with this. Maybe some clever saying to go with it?

Hey Jo - interesting concept... these are great foundations for your future art. It's exactly the kind of practice artists need!

Hey Jo, I get that you’re disappointed (artists tend to do this to themselves!), but I love what you created. I like the idea, and I don’t have any concern with the execution. Well done. ??

Jo - this particular piece is truly outstanding. Before I even saw the title of the assignment, it was clear that it was a self-portrait. Well done. Really well done.

Jo - this is fantastic! What a great way for us to keep up with your growing artistic talent. And, it was really fun to receive this while we are on vacation and can just sit and soak in your work.

Hey Josey, I really like this piece. The proportion is great and the "scribble" really gives it texture and shading. I just have one question... where's the rest of the dear? ;) Keep up the great work sweetie. You are truly talented.

Shading is really difficult and you need to practice a lot to get it right. It's also a very important tool in art. You did a great job Josie! Looking forward to seeing more of you work.

I love the flow in this bowl. I can really see the thought and planning that went into making it. I also appreciate Josie's criticism of her work. I think that when we are able to look at what we do objectively and see what needs to be improved or changed, we learn and grow. So proud of you Josie.

I like the perspective development and the shading on this double page of art!
