I read though your comments about this piece. Actually, I think it's really cool that you DIDN'T add glaze, color, or gloss to the face area. It makes the black gloss on the hair really stand out!

This is very cool. I look forward to seeing the plans in person at some point. By calling this the "final plan", I think it must be an iteration of the previous design that I saw earlier this year. Very cool.

Ok. This is great. It's rendered just enough :-) Compositionally it's strong too, good balance between the different elements and forms

I really like the collage aspect of this. Reminds me of the work of Robert Rauschenberg, but your work also incorporates the hand-drawn whereas Rauschenberg stuck to collaging images solely from the popular press. Really cool.

This is really great. Reminds me of the post-WWII artists, a bit of George Grosz. I like the handling of the masses and forms, it definitely has weight. Good job

I like the way you used white to make the drawing! it's like learning how to use the "negative"

Really interesting. An etching to go with an Edgar Allan Poe or horror short story.

I like the one on the right too. Was the one on the left over-inked?

I'm really enjoying your use of color. And, I've said it before, but I'm impressed by the confidence in your linework.

I like that you can feel the movement of the forms. And I appreciate the confidence in the linework!

Really cool to see how this eventually became the smiling female figure

This is great. Perhaps a precursor to the poster that hangs outside of Mrs. Hunter's classroom?

Really amazing drawing of the human form. Great use of color, line, cross-hatching...!

Wow! This is looking really cool. The shape is organic and you've done a great job keeping the shelves level!

This is a really cool idea. I like the biomorphic shape of the shelving system. If it's see-through I wonder if it will be made using plexi-glass?

Very cool! I like how you were able to scale down the penguin so successfully.

I like how you are exploring and reproducing the eyes in multiples. Indicates dedication to getting it right!

Great work on the noses! Noses and hands are some of the hardest things to capture correctly.

Wow, Caden! I can see the layers of paint that you used on this composition. I can also tell this is you. Really cool that you used all reds!

This is a great model! Just like you I love that she's holding a smaller version of herself ;-)

Tracing paper is a GREAT tool in art creation! Very cool.

Really cool use of white as a "color" in this piece. We always assume the paper is white, but here the white pencil really pops!

This is great. Reminds me of constructivist artwork by someone like Malevich, or a simple Piet Mondrian (look those artists up on Google) :-)

Hey! You mentioned this vessel to me while you were creating it. I love the addition of the Sanrio characters!
