I learn so much from your art. Papunya was an art form new to me so I looked it up after being intrigued by your drawing. Love the placement of the dots in an abstract heart form around the dolfin. Colors blend so beautifully! Thanks for sharing, Bea.

Wow! That little guy moves, glows and radiates magic. I counted at least 37 rounds of color. You are so patient and focused, Bea, and it shows in your art work. I love it!!! Grandma

This is amazing, Beatrice! Birch trees are my favorite tree and you have done a great job showing how graceful they are. Love the shadows and depth perception in your drawing!

WHOA!!!! How cool is this????? Did you fold it over to make the second side of his face?

This is definitely one of my favorites! Your smile is as beautiful and bright as the sun peaking in the corner. Your attention to details such as the heart pocket, accurate number of fingers on each hand, well delinfined separation of grass and sky, and pefect outlining of the figure make this a real keepsake. Love Grandma

Bea, you nailed it! Love the pattern and color repeats and variety of textures. I wish this was fabric so that we could use it to make an outfit or pillow. Just 6 more days until I get to see it and give you a big hug! Love, Grandma

Bumble Bea- This is so wonderful. You are becoming quite a little artist. I especially love the little heart on her pocket. :)

Is this made with clay? Maybe how you were able to give the scales and tail fins so much texture? The purple overlay was a great way to separate the body from the yellow fin. The fish seems to be smiling. Makes me smile too! Can't wait to see your fish when I visit.

Love it, Bea! The wrapper is my favorite part. The points and lines show it opening to encase the yummy cake inside. Sprinkles, cherry and swirls of frosting....oh how I would love to take a bite!

Love that you chose cool colors for this little winter guy! The way you have posed him is amazing. Details on his feet and elbow, the color repeating in the scarf and pompom and dot accents give him soooo much personality. Hope that I will get to meet him in person when I visit in a few weeks.

The cute pink hat pops over the bears ears giving your work a 3 dimentional look. The way you have layered the cut out pieces to give the bear this look shows planning and skill. Hope that I will get to meet Mr. Bear when I visit. Love Grandma

Your cat pops right off the page! Wonder if he might share that ice cream cone with me? Your art project has sooo much detail. I can tell that you put some thought into the project before starting. His big blue eyes direct me to the tips of his ears and tiny nose.

I just read the assignment for this project and was very impressed to hear what you are learning! Love the variety of shapes and how you placed them on the background sheet. My eye is drawn to the tiny black pieces and they are balanced by the large purple pieces and pop of tourquoise. Love it, Bea! Hope to see another art piece soon!

If you cut out the pieces, you sure are improving! Love the blue eyes. The tongue placement makes me think that your character is frightened!

The petals seem to flutter. Must be a breezy day! Like that the top petals are reaching up into the sky. Is that a loose seed on one of the petals? Wonder where it will land?

Beatrice, This is the first time I have been able to look at your work! I went back and looked at your other entrys. I think the snail is my favorite! The shapes that you formed in this piece of art make me want to bounce! The jewels give your work a unique touch and my eye is drawn to them. I hope that you will keep sending "projects" for me to admire!
