Good job, Mason! I wasn't familiar with Charles Mcgee, but after looking at his sculptures, I can say that I think you did a great job of capturing his distinctive style.

I'm glad you had a chance to explore different methods of watercolor painting.

Nice work, Mason! You put together the lines in horizontal rows with different colors and patterns for the landscape and added lines to make the palm tree and the suns. I think it was a good design to have the three palm trees at different heights, and by leaving white space between the rows, your landscape picture looks peaceful and can make people smile.

You did a good job of exploring and using different textures. I like how you can add texture by putting the textured object under your paper and then rubbing over the paper with your crayons. I especially like the blue on top that looks like waves along the shoreline.

That looks like it was a fun project. I like the swirl of the yellow and pink colors.

What stands out to me first when I look at this self-portrait is all your movement created by the lines around the figure. Or, it is almost like you are floating in water, with water ripples around you. I like the facial features, and how you added different symbols on the shirt. You have nice pastel colors in the background. Nice work in the style of Jean-Michel Basquiat!

Your artwork depicts the style of Jean-Michel Basquiat, boldly drawn over a colorful, flowing background that adds movement to the piece. You did a good job of using the space. Well-done, Mason!

I think the bird has a delightful expression! It makes me smile. I also love your choice of colors and how you used them in your design.
