Dear Barrett, Do some of your classmates ride the bus to school? I'm glad you are able to walk. I walked in elementary but then we moved to the country and had to ride the bus. It was almost an hour to get home! I like how the people in the bus are looking out the windows. The lightning bolts are definitely scary! Did a lightning bolt pick up one of the people?!? Dear Barrett, I am looking at your art on Tuesday, January 9, 2023 at 6:17 pm! It was snowing this morning but now we are having rain as I expect you are at your house as well. The mailbox in your picture reminds me I should be sending some cards or letters soon. I will work on that this week as my assignment. Dear Barrett, Munch, munch, munch! It is great fun to watch a caterpillar munch away on a plant leaf. When I was a child Oma let us use a dish drainer rack as a climbing toy for caterpillars. The caterpillar would walk along the various rails up, down, and all around. I like the blue color you used for the sky. Very nice! Love, Grandma Becky

Dear Barrett, this art reminds me of when you and Calliope were much younger and you were using the magnifying glasses here at Oma's house. You have done an awesome job of drawing a big for observation, just like it would look outside! I'm sure there are many bugs hatching right now outside since it has gotten warmer.
