Well, I could be wrong, but I'm going to guess this is a snowy owl. He is loving his perch high in the tree, so he can see a mouse far below to hunt for his breakfast!

Emma Lou! I love everything about this! The dark sky, the bright stars (and that BIG one!). The Wise Men do look very wise, and each is holding his special gift for the baby and His family so carefully. What a great picture to help us remember Jesus' Birth, and all the wonderful things that happened then.
