Hi Syd, Just wanted you to know that I loved your art so much that I am going to let my friends call me Art in your honor. I actually, actually had to ask your mom if you drew those pictures freehand or traced them! That’s how great I thought they were! My favorite though was the snowman picture, because it brings back so many good memories of when I lived in New York with your Dad. Keep up the good work. I can’t wait to see more masterpieces!

Oh my goodness Sydney! This piece really reached out to me. I see people and matches.(Matches are used to start a fire.) Perhaps the people are looking for matches with other people. Maybe the people are looking for friends that they have something in common with. Like maybe they are looking for a friend that also likes painting. That would be a match. You see some words can mean two different things. That is why I think this picture is so interesting. What were you were thinking of when you created it?
