Hi Lilly! Your beautiful artist's palette looks very realistic and ready to use. What will you paint for the frame in the play room?
Posted 7 months ago by Papi
A painting of paints and paintbrushes - that's awesome!

Hi Lilly, What a very creative alien you have drawn! Did the alien lay an egg? I also wonder why they always visit at night?

You have amazing detail in your owl and I love your color selection!

I like the contrasts of color and shape between the two halves of your picture! On one side, cool blue; on the other, warm orange and red and yellow. On one side, small arcs and loops and semicircles; on the other, sweeping lines of color, gently curving. And the pink flowers on the forehead and cheek tie the picture together by combining the two themes - semicircular & circular shapes with warm bright colors.

Oh, this is pretty, Lilly! - both the colors and the shape.

Hi Lilly! What a beautiful rainbow of dots surrounding the heart full of hearts. So many dots placed so carefully--you have a LOT of patience. Well done

This would look great in the toy room! What do you think?

Hi Lilly! Your pumpkin is so animated, it looks like it could talk to you! I agree with Gramma Nehring, the eyes of the pumpkin are my absolute favorite. Gaga and I are looking forward to seeing what you create moving forward.

I particularly like the eyes on your pumpkin, and the way you have combined yellow and red tones with the orange. It's going to be fun to see your artwork as this school year goes along!

Hi Lilly! I love your insect drawings. They are so detailed. I especially love the praying mantis. They look like drawings in an insect text book!
Posted 1 year ago by Brian (Papi)
I can almost feel the hairs on the spider's legs and on the arm of the praying mantis!! You've drawn the details vividly.
Posted 1 year ago by Grandma
I especially like the butterflies! And the person on the right side of the drawing, with a big smile and hair standing straight up. Makes me smile too.
Posted 1 year ago by Grandma
Such a pretty butterfly! I particularly like the scallop-shell-like markings in the wings.

Hi Lilly! I am again impressed by the detail in your drawings. The big (momma?) bunny's tail looks so lifelike, and I love the addition of the baby bunnies. I love the use of the 3 circles as a starting point for the main rabbit, too.

Beautiful flowers!

I like those bunnies! Especially the one on the lower right, the one who's looking out at us.

Hi Lilly! Your latest creation reminds me of a firebird! With its read color and feathers all lined up for flight, it looks like it will fly very fast and high.

Hi Lilly! What a very interesting repeating design you have made. It reminds me of the decorative spines of expensive leather-bound books in a library!

You've chosen a pleasing arrangement of colors to go next to each other.

What a beautiful heart, Lilly, and so colorful! I am very impressed with your patience and steady hand outlining the hearts so carefully <3

Lilly, I love your penguin. It looks a bit lonely on its ice block in the ocean. I love the way you have clearly drawn the sea and the sky!
Posted 1 year ago by Papi
I like your penguin! Something about the position of the eyes and beak gives its face an appealing expression. And the earmuffs(headphones??) are a funny touch.

This is a fabulous self-portrait! You have truly captured your hair style and color very well.

What a cheery group of snow people on a winter's day!

I like your snowflake! And the red and green border around the outside of the picture.

Hello Lilly, What a very funny cross-eyed Jack-o'-lantern you have created! He immediately made me laugh. You have truly captured the color of the pumpkin with all of the colors you have chosen, and the stem shape is very realistic. You are very artistic!

!Hi Lilly, What a colorful rainbow monster you have created! Such interesting and detailed skin or scales or hair (or all of the above). His (or her) teeth look especially sharp. I don't think that this is a vegetarian monster!!
Posted 2 years ago by Brian (Papi)
I like the variety of lines, zigzags, loops, and so on, across the monster's face!

I like the veins in your leaf, and also the way that the warm tones of the leaf stand out against the background.

What a lot is going on inside your head! I wish you could tell me more about the flower and butterfly and other things that you've drawn in this picture.

I'll look at this snowman when I'd like to see a happy winter picture, and at your colorful corn when I'd like to see a happy fall picture. I hope a spring picture will be coming along soon!

Lilly, I love the details you include in your drawings--the snowflake, the multi-colored designs in the mitten. The colors are beautifully chosen and very engaging to the eye! Beautiful work!
Posted 2 years ago by Papi
A warm and delightful use of color! It makes me think of an unusually beautiful marble - or perhaps of a planet in a fantasy world.
Posted 2 years ago by Grandma
Wow! How beautiful! You're one talented artist, Lilly. Great eye for colors!

Lilly, the warm red and orange and yellow in the background, and the jewel-like colors in the ear of corn, are splendid!
