GREAT JOB! I also love the colors. But is it really "JUST" a lily pad? I don't think so. It's a verdant, floating jewel that graces the tranquil waters, its emerald surface perfectly poised to cradle dewdrops and reflect the sun’s gentle embrace, and like a delicate green shield, it offers sanctuary to darting dragonflies and the soft whispers of rippling ponds, embodying nature’s quiet harmony and grace. How's THAT for your "lily pad"?? LOL!

Jacob, don't be discouraged... Byzantine art is not easy. Just look at all of the iconography in the church, and also the Byzantine mosaics in churches like the great Agia Sophia in Constantinople. You actually did VERY WELL on this! Looks like the Byzantine Emperor! Keep at it! BRAVO!!!
