Nandini’s self portrait displays a simple sober expression. Contrasting colours. What stands out in this is the glowing eyes. To me, they do show a determination to meet the challenges that she would face in her life and win them over. Very good work.

This chequered painting full of squares has a mystic quality. The left hand raised, I often wondered what it signifies! Is it some child asking for help? I queried whether the Artist had some thing which she wanted to communicate beyond merely showing a piece of art? It is interesting to explore what was in Nandini’ mind when she undertook this art work. The theme here is definitely some thing which very different and unique. The Colors used especially on the fingers are quite different from those used in the mosaic. I would rank this as a very unique work from Child Nandini.

This drawing is awesome. It is beyond description and what is it? Is it a cosmic phenomenon? Or a simple flower vase. Nandini’s painting is vivid and thought provoking!!!
