Connor-you really nailed this project. How did you remember all of the directions you were asked to include? The details in the fins and tail were very carefully drawn. I’m impressed by how many details gave me the idea that the koi was actually surrounded by water without having to color the entire background. You really have a special ability to create the pictures you must see in your mind. Really good job! Thanks for sharing with all of us.

Oh Connor, you did a wonderful job on your snow scene in winter. I am very impressed with the way you made the trees different sizes; the nearest tree is bigger than the tree farther away. Do you know what this shows me? It shows me you are a really great listener. You did just what your teacher asked you to do. That's really hard to do especially when you are only 6. Keep up the good work, buddy.

Love the mitten and snowflakes.....great job Connor!
Posted 2 years ago by Grandma Karen
Wow Connor- You did such a great job on this project. Your mitten looks very well done. The colors red, yellow and orange makes me feel very warm. I would need another mitten because both of my hands need to be warm. You did a wonderful job on cutting with scissors. That's not easy for any five year old to do. I loved the way you used the three warm colors. I saw that some of your squares used more than one color in some of them. I'm excited by how careful you worked on everything in this lesson. Some of the snowflakes and ice pictures made me smile. I think this mitten has two legs. Does it want to play in the snow like you?
