Joanna, this is one of my favorite pieces you’ve done! The different shades of purple and green make it look like sunbeams are hitting the flower pot.

Jojo, is this a hedgehog? It’s so cute! She looks cozy and really friendly. Did you know I had a hedgehog named Tula? She loved floating on her back in a sink full of water water. I would give her a bath and trim her nails!

Jojo! Trees are my favorite thing in nature, and I especially love how you created this one with swirly bark patterns. How cute are those toadstools!?! They remind me of the Super Mario Bros movie, which Annie and Tucker love. Speaking of love, we love you!

Jojo!! This turkey makes me so happy. He looks like he would make a great pet turkey. I can also imagine he makes some funny sounds, too. Ask Aunt Kara to do her turkey call for you. Also, I love the colors you chose! The blue is a nice contrast.

This project is awesome! What’s so cool about this piece is, at first I didn’t see the bats… I saw lovely fall colors and dark negative space (ask your mom what that is). Now that I see the bats, it’s like two paintings in one! The warm colors are so comforting. Hugs!
