Sims, This is one of my favorite paintings you've done. I loved reading the inspiration for it. I am reading a book called The Gales of November, about a horrible storm in 1975 that took the life of 29 people on one of the most famous ships on the Great Lakes. It also reminds me of our painting hanging in our home of the huge wave crashing houses together. Your colors are beautiful and the ship on the horizon is really nice.

Sims, This is wonderful. I know it had to take a lot of patience and time to do the checkerboard. Great job with the watercolors. It looks like steam is rising off of that delicious cup of cocoa! You have quite the artistic eye!
