Reminds of the realism paintings that I saw in France. As you look at the painting, you are seeing a young woman in deep thought.

Love the shades of purple, grey, and brown in her curls. Her expression leaves me wondering what she is pondering. Granny

Love the gold on the blue, great contrast. I could definitely see you wearing that at a masquerade party. Very festive! Granny

Great use of contrasting and shading. I’ve often wondered what I’d look like with long hair and now I know.

Great use of color tones. The different blues add depth to the water. It looks like it’s shining. A reflection of sunlight? Or a reflection of the artist’s soul? The great questions are rarely answered.

What a creative piece of art! I love the details on Sir Pugsly’s face. It looks like it’s made out of tootsie rolls. That would be delicious. Is it made out of tootsie rolls?!?

The sarcophagus was a titanic show of wealth. Love the use of limited color and the use of gold shows the importance of the person it was created for.

This looks delicious! Is that popcorn on the cob? What a strange invention. Makes me wonder what else could be served on a cob. Everything?

Ancient Egypt is so fascinating! Did you know that Hercules Mulligan saved George Washington’s life? Twice!?

I’m going to respectfully disagree with grandma and say that this is a butterfly and not a bee. After careful analysis I see longer antennae and more pronounced wings. Either way, it’s a very nice picture that reminds me of summer. But let’s not kid ourselves, that’s definitely a butterfly.

I know how you love bees. They give you the honey you love for your tea. A great picture showing the hard work they do pollinating the flowers. Colorful too??
