The watermelon looks good enough to eat!

The bold, perpendicular lines are offset by the collection of meaningful objects. The use of shadow adds depth and texture to the image. A dialogue with the artist adds compelling interpretation.

I love this mixed media presentation. The use of color, minimalist drawings and pre-cut papers is quite expressive. Layers offer a fuller dimension and depth to the work. Illustrations of humans, trees and domiciles in a foreground brings the viewer home, as the mountains expand experience. A row of hearts on a neutral surface betwixt the here and the other unite all as One.
