Mason, Your Still Life art work of the fruit is wonderful! The colors you used for the pear, apple, orange and lemon are so nice, and the way you cut and sculptured the paper to create the fruit and the fruit bowl is perfect! ?Love, Grandma and Papa

Mason, I love the way you drew the snail’s spiral shell shape and how you colored the shape in…the colors are all lined up! That shows a lot of drawing skill and understanding of color groups from warm to cool. Warm—red, orange, yellow Cool—blue, purple, green I’m looking forward to seeing more of your art! Isabel

Hi Mason, I love seeing your art here on Artsonia. Did you do a crayon drawing before the paint color? Did you fold and dip the paper in the paint or use a brush to paint with the paper laying flat? I’m pretty sure you drew first with crayon. This technique is called “crayon resist” because the crayon keeps the paint away from where the drawn marks are. It’s so good to see you enjoying making art! Aunt Isabel
