Hi Lucy, I like your tiger! The project description says that it is on fabric. I’d be interested to know how you did that? What fabric? And how was the tiger painted on? Are the leaves also painted on or are they pasted on? Glad you are enjoying art class. love, Aunt Dorothy

Rainbow hearts are so happy! The feathered edge makes this art piece particularly interesting. The large red dots create a dramatic border.
Posted 2 years ago by Aunt Janet
Awesome birdhouse and red Cardinal! Your colorful art projects are joyful in appearance. Once again, well done!
Posted 2 years ago by Aunt Janet
Hi Lucy, Did you have fun doing this hearts project? It looks like it was fun. But I’m curious how you did it. I can see you crayoned the colors of the rainbow in bands across the page. The hearts are very evenly drawn—did you trace a template ? But I still can’t figure out how you added the red-orange background. You did a good job! Tell me more ??

Lucy, what a beautiful winter scene with gently falling snow!
Posted 3 years ago by Aunt Janet
Oh Lucy, what fun! You did that snow-spatter really well. Where did you get the idea for those trees? Are they juniper trees, or cypress? Do you have any of those growing nearby? I like to imagine snow....we don't have any around here yet this year.~Aunt Dee

Your abstract bear is so interesting! Perhaps you used a white crayon to begin this art piece. The waxy crayon offers a very nice separation between the various paint colors. Keep up the good work!

Lucy, I love your painting. I especially like the swirls of green, blue and yellow of the leaves your ladybug sits on. Maybe this is how the leaf looks to her close up….The brushstrokes make me feel that nature is always moving.
Posted 3 years ago by Aunt Dee
Your ladybug painting is bright and beautiful! I especially like the cool background colors (blues and greens) that compliment the warm red of the ladybug. The background swirls give your painting motion, which is exciting.
