I LOVE this, CSAP! I love the sense of motion and explosive energy conveyed by the sharp lines, and the yellow brick makes me think of wall but also of following a yellow brick road to magical possibilities.

This really is quite creepy!!! I didn't think of the mustard/ketchup thing, and I see what you mean, but I don't think it looks like ketchup and mustard at all. I could see this running around and chomping in the The Nightmare Before Christmas and it would be awesome! Well done, Caleb!

Such excellent use of negative space to give the beetle shape and help it stand out! And the highlights where the light hits it along its body are so cool!

I love the texture - you can really tell that the beetle is smooth and shiny, and the branch its on is rough, making it easier to grip. Well done Caleb!
