Hey, Ben! Your house definitely looks Victorian -- and maybe a little haunted. I half expected to see a ghost at one of the windows! The detail and shading are very cool! Keep drawing! Love you!

Great job, Ben! Are you a Browns fan??!! Your guitar looks exactly like it's supposed to, and your colors and symbols are right on point. Yay, you! Love you!

Wow, Ben! This piece is fantastic! Hands are super hard to draw, and you've done an amazing job. Your background is cool, too -- kind of Jason Pollock. I hope this semester doesn't end your art classes, but if it does, you might want to consider taking art in high school. You're really talented! Love you!

Cool can, Ben! Dr. Pepper is one of your dad's favorites, I think. I really like the background, too. Your stripes and dots highlight the can without overpowering it visually. Keep up the good work!

Now that's a prime example of your talent -- not only completing the assignment but completing it with such care, such detail, and such an eye for color and shading (no pun intended!). Well, done, Ben! Keep 'em coming! Love you!

Whoa. This is incredible. ??

I'm late to the party on this piece, Ben. I just saw it. It makes me smile! It's so "you", which I'm pretty sure was the point of the project. You are a swimmer for sure and a team player. Now let's see how those Browns do! (Would you really have a big slab of tomato on your burger though? If the answer is yes, yay! If it's no, I understand, but I'd definitely have it on mine!) Love,

That black eye is super cool, Ben! The lighter versions are as well. Your attention to detail is one of the many things I love about your artwork. You really are quite talented, kiddo! Love you!

Hi, Ben! I'm anxious to hear your take on this project. I really like the 3-D layout and the abstract wall art. Did you also make the display box? And what about the snake-shaped sculpture? Regardless, it's all very cool and comes together great! Another artistic "yessss!!!" Love you!

Another winner, Ben! Once again, your eye (no pun intended!) for color, shading, and detail is impressive. The two white dots in the pupil definitely give the eye that reflective quality that would be easy to overlook (again, no pun!) if your weren't so good at the fine points. That reflective quality along with the color wheel, gray shading, and lash work make your picture so realistic! Great job!

Ben, I am stunned. So is Papa. This picture is beyond amazing! The detail, the colors, the shading, the cross hatching... How did you ever DO this? It's -- well -- stunning! You are ridiculously talented, and I'm not kidding or exaggerating. At all. Keep at it, Ben. You're an artist, plain and simple!

Hi, Ben! I'm so glad your teacher is posting your artwork this year! Papa and I really look forward to seeing what you've created. This one is so intricate and very cool. You have so many shapes and designs, and they all work so well together. I love the symmetry within each section. This must have taken you a long time to perfect! Well done!

This room is classic! Papa and I both looked at it very carefully, and agreed that it's awesome! Of course, Papa noticed the TV and all the electronics right away. He's all about that! I like the organization and the decor: the gray chest of drawers, a big bed with a cool headboard and gray throw, cubbies with all your shoes, plants -- and don't get me started on all the light those windows let in! The best features, though, are all the things that make this room truly yours: the lacrosse equipment, the drum set, and my favorite -- the bag of Skittles! This was so much fun to see!

Another gem, Ben! Fold upon fold, layer upon layer, symmetry, expansion, color, background -- this piece has it all. I don't know how much better your artwork can get, but I sure am looking forward to whatever comes next!

My goodness, Ben! You've been busy with your radial art. I don't understand how you can make each piece different and maybe even better than the one before it! I really love seeing all your art. Makes my day! Love you!

Last but certainly not least -- yet another beautiful example of your creativity and attention to detail. Wow! Just wow!
- Grammie on February 24, 2022

And another radial piece! These keep getting more and more complex and interesting. I can't imagine how long each of these took you. Such patience and creativity! Applause!

I don't know when this one was posted, but I REALLY like it! The background brings out the colors and patterns so well! Again, I love the symmetry and the balance. Great work!

Hi, Ben! Your radial creation is super-cool! It's like origami taken to the next level. You always were good at paper folding. Now you've added creativity, symmetry, and color! Very nice job! I really look forward to seeing your artwork. I'm glad your teacher is sharing it on Artsonia. Love you!
- Grammie on February 24, 2022

Geez Louise, Ben! How did you DO that? It's absolutely stunning, and I'm not just saying that! The shading, the symmetry, and that flower! Truly a work of art way beyond your years! I would LOVE to have that on a mug! Wow! Keep up the amazing work! Love you! (I just realized how many exclamation points I used. Guess that shows how much I appreciate this piece! Oops! A few more!!!)

This is 3-D, right? It looks like maybe pipecleaners and craft balls superimposed on the colorful background? Whatever! It's creative and catchy -- and definitely abstract (although I think I see a butterfly somewhere in there!). Nice work once again, Ben! Love you!

Hi, Ben! This one makes me want to keep on looking and looking! I see a cute face, a striped tail, and a ton of interesting lines and colors. The colors are really fascinating, especially the way you blended and faded them into one another. I love that your teacher is posting your work on Artsonia. Seeing it makes my day brighter!
- Grammie on February 16, 2022

Good work. I like it. Picasso.

Hello! What's up with you? I'm fine! Lol. These are so cute. I really like the white splatter in the background and how you used the white on the hearts to give them some dimension and shine.
- Bethany (Mother) on January 27, 2022

I can't wait to pick your brain on this one! I see gecko pattern toward the bottom? Awesome work!
- Bethany (Mother) on January 27, 2022

I'm getting "guitar" or other stringed instrument from this. I love it! I like how you blended the colors in the background.
- Bethany (Mother) on January 27, 2022

Hi, Carrot! Just kidding. Super cute, gecko, Ben! You captured the chonky tail perfectly. Keep up the awesome work. I love seeing you create.
- Bethany (Mother) on January 27, 2022
Dang, Ben! You have been busy with your artwork. This lizard HAS to be Carrot, right? It is REALLY good, and I'm not just saying that because I'm your Grammie. The whole picture screams, "I'm a lizard, and I'm super cool!" I think the head and eye are my favorite features, but the little feet are pretty cute, too! Keep up the great work!
- Grammie on January 27, 2022

Hi, Ben! Wow! Another cool art project! Shapes, colors, and messages are all perfect, and I love how the splashy black and white background sets everything off and makes the hearts stand out. Keep being creative! Love you!
