Oh, come on, Ben! Could this piece be any cooler???? I'm no ichthyologist, so I'm not sure if your fish (mammal?) is a shark or a dolphin, but I'm hoping dolphin because it's with a sea turtle, and they look pretty compatible! Regardless, the colors, the forms, and everything about it look great, and I'll bet your mom will add it to her collection in a hot second! Love you!

Hi, Ben! Of course, your animal is a Cleveland Browns fan! (Maybe he could help the team out. Lord knows, they need some help!) Seriously, though, I love the colors, the face and head are shaped really well, and the partial number on the torso is the perfect touch. And don't go, "Pfft! But I'm not good in art!" -- because clearly that isn't true! Love seeing your work and love you!

Hey, Ben! I'm not sure exactly what the assignment for this piece was, but it's ceramic, right? The colors and shading are cool, and I hope I don't get this all wrong, but it looks kind of like a Hobbit house. If I'm right, Frodo would be happy to call it his own. Another winner, Ben! Once again, your eye (no pun intended!) for color, shading, and detail is impressive. The two white dots in the pupil definitely give the eye that reflective quality that would be easy to overlook (again, no pun!) if your weren't so good at the fine points. That reflective quality along with the color wheel, gray shading, and lash work make your picture so realistic! Great job!

Hi, Ben! I'm so glad your teacher is posting your artwork this year! Papa and I really look forward to seeing what you've created. This one is so intricate and very cool. You have so many shapes and designs, and they all work so well together. I love the symmetry within each section. This must have taken you a long time to perfect! Well done!

This room is classic! Papa and I both looked at it very carefully, and agreed that it's awesome! Of course, Papa noticed the TV and all the electronics right away. He's all about that! I like the organization and the decor: the gray chest of drawers, a big bed with a cool headboard and gray throw, cubbies with all your shoes, plants -- and don't get me started on all the light those windows let in! The best features, though, are all the things that make this room truly yours: the lacrosse equipment, the drum set, and my favorite -- the bag of Skittles! This was so much fun to see!

Another gem, Ben! Fold upon fold, layer upon layer, symmetry, expansion, color, background -- this piece has it all. I don't know how much better your artwork can get, but I sure am looking forward to whatever comes next!
