Hi Henry!! What a great use of dots to create 3 dimensional perspectives on a 2 dimensional piece of paper. It reminds me of some drawings we used to do with pencil. Do you remember drawing a ladder with its shadow and folding the paper in half or the apples we did using pencil shading? Georges Seurat is attributed with making the use of dots, called pointillism, popular. Vincent Van Gogh is a well known artist that used this technique. One of Seurats initial works with dots was referred to as the shot heard around the world, a phrase meaning an event that has great effect, like the first shots of the revolutionary war and the first nationally televised baseball game, 1951 Yankees with Bobby Thompson’s pennant winning homer.
