The Sun in this picture got my attention first. Then I was drawn into the house and winter surroundings. It seems very creative that there are a few different shapes used in different ways through this drawing. The shapes also set a mood through the curved walkway, the intensity of the sun, and the rolling hills. The snowman and Christmas tree with presents outside also make me smile. Such a calm, joyous, and comforting winter scene!

I like the simplicity and the color choices in this piece. Cheerful colors on a light background stemming from each branch. I think this could represent fall or spring or even a cheerful place to be.

The mixed media in this artwork really grabs my attention. I love the contrast of both the tree scene and the other background as well as the contrasting colors within the prominent bright outdoor scene (shy and land). This might be one of my favorites.
