I see your teacher has introduced you to a new art form. You've gone from colored pencils and paper to now molding real clay---not Play-Dough---glazing your finished art work, then firing it in a kiln for a long-lasting first piece. You should be proud of your achievement; it's beautiful! Some artists like to work in wood, while others like working in stone or metal. As time goes on, you'll learn what type of medium you enjoy. What's important is to continue to learn the various techniques to any art form.

Harper, YaYa wants to point out that an artist's creative work is subject to interpretation by the viewer, especially when it is abstract, that is, not easily recognizable. Your work here is clearly a tree with red birds flocking about. The tree appears to be leaning, so YaYa wonders if, to the left, that is a gust of wind about to topple or blow down the tree. You have great imagination, and this another of your masterpiece. My, what a wonderful portfolio you are amassing in on my 2nd grade. YaYa loves it!
