Wow Mae Mae! I really like your landscape scene. The colors are so bright and you've put so much texture in it by including mountains, bushes and rocks. I also like how you've given the picture depth by placing the animals in the front and creating a horizon line with the green bushes, rocks and mountains that appear to be set back in the frame. It looks so real I can almost feel the warmth of the sun! Great job!

WOW! This picture really helped me today. I've been working so hard on getting all my chores done and sitting at my desk for hours. Then I got to the email telling me you had some new art for me to see. When I looked at this beautiful picture of all these different leaves seeming to float through the air with the blue sky, green grass and warm sun shining down I just took a deep breath, sat back in my seat and totally relaxed! I can hardly believe how perfect this hand and arm look in your artwork! You did a fantastic job of making it look so real. Love colors and patterns you chose to use. Hi Mae, Is this your first piece of art to be posted as a 2nd grader? It's very pretty! I like the shape of the center drawing. It looks like a star or a starfish. The colors kind of go from light pink to deep pink to burgundy to purple. It has a nice frame and a positive vibe!

These are so colorful! I counted 8 total triangles plus 1 bottom of a triangle obscured by a triangle sitting over its peak. The colors are gorgeous and so bright they seem to shimmer!!!

Mae, I love this picture from your studies on Tidepools! It is so colorful and the little white shape looks like a person peeking into and becoming a real part of a tidepool! Kind of like a "Tidepool Spy"!
