Chloe, I really love this - and the soft colors you've chosen: so simple, yet so effective, with the central leaf/feather design, and the color-corresponding pattern on the left. I can see some really intricate patterning throughout: almost a keyboard 'look' in one place, and could that be a giraffe skin?! The overall impression is almost that of hieroglyphics: something mysterious - and so creative. Very well done.

This looks a bit like an alien with a big head and his knees bent in front of him - LOL! What do you think? How did you get all the different textures? Looks like a fun project xxx

I am so impressed, Chloe, by all the background work that goes into producing your artwork. I don't remember being taught in such a thorough way when I was at school, and you will have a good understanding of how to plan and produce a project. Excellent!

Chloe, I love the vibrant colours of the Nike shoe matching the 'Nerds' - and both objects are drawn so well. You might have to explain the concept to me, though!! it is certainly imaginative and impressive. Lots of love xxx

Chloe, I am absolutely fascinated by this self-portrait (I'm assuming it is? The descriptive words around it are certainly true of you). I am hoping you will explain the significance of the 'face' to me? Is it meaning that you are not someone who draws attention to themselves - or, simply, that you have a bad case of measles?!! Chloe, I am so impressed! There are art methods here that I have never heard of, let alone used - and I can see how very effective something like a Double Loaded Brush would be. Have you tried all of these in your paintings? Thank you for sharing them with us. Lots of love

Chloe, I think you've done a great job here. Your colouring is well thought out and, although you wish you'd erased the pencil marks, I'm finding it really interesting to see how you've lined up your facial features for the correct symmetry. Good work, darling - and I love the frame (and the clouds)!

Chloe, what a successful piece of work - and not easy at all, as you point out. Reproducing something can be so much harder than using your own ideas. How sensible you were to do the houses in that way: it works well - and your trees are a triumph! I do like the dots, though, Chloe, and think they are extremely effective. They provide a wonderful contrast to the other designs - which are superbly thought up and executed. There's almost a touch of the American flag in there, isn't there?! Clever girl: a beautiful design - and wouldn't it be great if the sun's rays really looked like that!

Chloe, these are very pretty! Did you have to choose what to do in each outline? I particularly like the black and white diamonds, the 'snail shells' and the ones that look like lots of pebbles! Very effective! Well done xxx

How have you done this, Chloe? It looks really technical, and like it would involve a lot of measuring and careful placement of the boxes and lines. Very impressive. Chloe, this is a super piece of work! You mention your effective shading of the trunk, and how you like the leaves blowing in the wind - and I love the way in which you have used your pencil (?) to slightly blur the branches, suggesting movement in the breeze. This makes me think of a lone tree, bending towards the water below - and it would be a beautiful place to sit quietly, wouldn't it? Lots of love from Granny xxxx
