Hi Carlisle, We love your latest artwork. It looks like a colorful humming bird hovering by a flower to lick out some of the nectar in the flower. The red and blue colors are uplifting and bright. Keep up the good work. Love Oma & Opa xoxo

Hi Carlisle, Thank you for sharing your art work of a very peaceful wintry scene. It reminds me of being snowed in at your place at Christmas. I have very pleasant memories of our stay in our camping van on your driveway. Continue to enjoy God's beautiful nature. Love Oma & Opa xoxo

As always, thanks for your creative artistry. The scene reminds me a bit of your back yard. Was that you inspiration? Given the amount of snow we've all had this winter, it's easy to see why you used that theme. Keep up the sharp eye! Love, Granddad

Hi Carlisle, That is a cute bicycle with much detail such as brake pedal, reflector under the seat and a chain with pedals. It looks a little bit like Oma's bike that your Mom now owns. Or is it a copy of your own bike? Good job! Love Oma & Opa xoxo

Wow! You sure like the snow don't you. I know. It is very pretty and allows us to take up many sports relating to the winter season: skating, skiing, tobogganing, ice sailing, fishing etc. Very well done, carlisle Love Opa

Very "cool" picture. I think you had a lot of snow this year in Ashville. It's great to make it look so pretty.

Hi Carlisle, Thank you for sharing your pretty colorful snow flake. Did the snow storm that you had influence you in selecting the type of art work? Did you enjoy the snow and would you like to have some more? We'll just have to settle for the kind of weather we are getting. We don't have any snow right now. I am missing my skiiing. Love Opa xo

Oh Carlisle! That is beautiful! As I am admiring your art work of the Northern Cardinal I am enjoying many species of birds through the patio window and I counted 6 Cardinals flitting from tree to tree and the hot tub. I spread some corn and sunflower seeds in the feeders and on the ground. Your art work of the Northern Cardinal inspires me to enjoy the birds and everyday life. Love Oma & Opa xoxo

This is a beautiful red bird. For the first time in many years it is cold in Miami, low 40's. We do not have snow, however. Enjoy your winter and keep up the good work.

Hi Carlisle, Wow what a neat piece of art with the Barred Owl perched on a tree branch. I remember a Barred Owl just like this one perched in one of the trees of the apple orchard here in Newcastle. I am not sure how the little owl fits in on the bark of the trunk of the tree. It is amazing how interesting that sounds when you made everything out of paper and paper comes from trees. Love Oma & Opa xoxo

Great job again, Carlisle!! The fish lips stand out so much. They just want to reach out and kiss someone. When I look at your fish, it makes me smile. It also reminds me of the beautiful lamp that you gave to Justine at Christmas time. The clay dress and high heel shoes are a "one of a kind". Right now we are enjoying it as it sits on our bathroom counter, and lights up the room. Thanks for lighting up our lives, Carlisle!! Keep up the fantastic work!! Love Aunt Pauline

Another great picture! I do not know if you wanted mountains in your background, but that is what the purple looks like to me. Keep up the great work.

Wow Carlisle, that is awesome. How I would love to sit in your swinging tire and enjoy the new green leaves of spring coming. And the sky is such a beautiful variety of colors. Keep up the good work. Love Oma & OPa xoxo
- on March 21, 2008
Wow! Were you inspired by the tire swing that you used to have in your back yard at your other house? I remember watching you swing on it. I love how you painted the sky. Your perspective is really well done. Excellent job, Carlisle! Love, Aunt Pauline

I think you can title this "Ontario Winter 2008" because this is all I've seen for the last 5 months!! This is a very good picture Carlisle. You are very talented. It looks so realistic...I really feel the cold!! Keep up the good work my dear.

Hi Carlisle, Wow! You are good. The snow man/woman is even wearing skates. He/she looks like a visitor from the great white north. The birds are migrating and hopefully will find a close friend in the snow man/woman welcoming them from the sunny south Thank you Carlisle for entertaining us with such talent Love Oma & Opa xoxo
- on March 18, 2008
I love your "cool" picture. I've never seen skates on a snowman, so, I think that is very original. I also have to complement your teacher. This is a very clever project to teach the idea of "stencil".
- on March 17, 2008

I love this picture of the snow plow. You have captured exactly what it feels like here in Bowmanville, Ontario on Carlisle Street. I will send you some photographs of the large piles of snow. I love the detail of the tires. I can't wait to see more of your work! You are an excellent artist!
- on March 18, 2008
Wow, Carlisle, your snow plow looks awesome. It sure would take a lot of work and energy to shovel all that snow with a shovel instead of the plow. Hope you made a nice snow man with all that snow. Did you have lots in your yard? Thank you for sharing your excellent art work. Love Oma & Opa xoxo
- on March 16, 2008
This is a great snow picture! It looks like a huge snow storm just put lots of snow on the ground and now it takes a huge truck to remove it. I guess I get that feeling because you made the truck almost fill the page. Good job!
- on March 16, 2008

Thanks for sending me your "falling" leaves. I can imagine the tree they came from and the wind that blew them off. I think your colors are beautiful! You must have a very goof art teacher!! Love, Jan
- on January 12, 2008
Fall is our favorite season, and we'd love to hang your "leaf collage" in our home. What did you use for the background? Great job! Love, Grandmom & Granddad
- on January 12, 2008
I love the beautiful leaves. Thank you for brightening my day! Love, Baum
- on January 12, 2008
Hi Carlisle, My how pretty those fall colored leaves look. They are maple leaves. Do they represent Canada where Opa & Oma live? We are very proud of you. Keep up the good art work. Peace & Love Oma & Opa xoxo
