I love the emphasis of the blue eyes on the penguin. Exceptional detail, and I believe the name pip suits the penguin very well. Fantastic work!

The delight this piece brings cannot be overstated. This represents people in their best form: joyful and inviting to share that joy with open arms. The border is her halo: she is truly a good person wanting to engage with others. This engagement will undoubtedly touch favorably anyone who receives her invitation. This seemingly small engagement though is what transforms the world in a great big way. This art is a fine reminder that every human interaction counts and to make that connection wonderful by a caring, joyful heart.

Picasso could have only dreamed of creating such a strong emotional response during his Rose Period.

Absolutely love this piece! It captures joy of rainfall and plying in puddles on a spring day! The mix of medias used is impressive for such young eyes. Just lovely

Behold — “The Violet Spirit”, an extraordinary exploration of identity and imagination rendered in humble construction paper. This small yet commanding mask invites the viewer into a world where simplicity meets emotional depth. The artist, with unrestrained creativity, crafts a petite face that feels both innocent and mysterious, a quiet whisper of childhood distilled into form. The purple hair — bold, untamed, and luminous — radiates like a crown of confidence. It is not merely hair, but a statement: a declaration of individuality, defiance, and joy. The hue evokes a dreamlike realm, bridging fantasy and self-expression, as if the mask itself were alive with stories untold. Every cut, every glued edge speaks to the raw honesty of creation — the courage to make something beautiful without pretense. Displayed in a museum, this paper mask would draw hushed admiration, a symbol of how even the smallest hands can shape something infinite. It is, in essence, a masterpiece of spirit — light as paper, yet heavy with meaning.

This painting captures a delightful sense of character and charm. The child’s interpretation of the penguin showcases an intuitive grasp of shape and proportion — the rounded body and expressive eyes give the subject both warmth and personality. The use of color, particularly the contrast between the black and white body and the surrounding background, draws the viewer’s attention directly to the penguin, creating a strong focal point. What’s especially striking is the sense of movement implied through the brushstrokes; it feels as though the penguin might waddle forward at any moment. There’s an innocence and sincerity here that many trained artists strive to recapture — a reminder that art at its core is about joy, expression, and seeing the world with curiosity.

What a fine piece with bold use of color. The background lines are well balanced and subtle to nicely show off this beautiful penguin.
