I really like this piece, Trace. The way you did the smoke was especially interesting. My husband and I saw an old engine very much like this outside in a parking lot when we were in PA this past weekend.

I love seeing your various art projects, Trace. You have a lot of skill and it is obvious you have a lot of experience, too. You are blessed to have a mom who has always encouraged you to draw, paint and do other kinds of art. I wonder what you were thinking about when you created this castle. What is going on in there? ?? It looks like a cool place to explore. I think adding a training traveling on one of the hills in the background would be fun, but it probably would not fit in with the assignment. Maybe later...

Trace, these tacos look delicious! Good enough to eat! I love the lime segments, they add a great splash of color! I love the marigold on the platter, it is very traditional for Dia de Los Muertos!

I love the shadow that you did just under the crown. We can't see much of the Statue of Liberty from this view, but it really does make it look like we are looking up at her! Very cool.
