Wow...as a zoo keeper with multiple penguins, I LOVE this painting!! I'm wondering if the little penguin is sad or worried because he looks concerned. Maybe it's because he's all alone on an ice floe?? I really like the background as well!!! You are a very, very good artist and we love seeing your work! I think I shall name the lead emperor penguin in Peaceland "Joe Penguin" unless you don't want me to! Love you and miss you!

I love this painting! It is fabulous, and I'm so glad we had a talk about the Eiffel Tower and the Statue of Liberty! Yesterday I mailed you a special postcard, so look for it in the mail. I also love the Eiffel Tower because I have visited it in person two times -- once as a second grader (like you) and once with Granddaddy. I love you and your art!
