Breanne, I really like this origami piece. The folded papers remind me of the paper airplanes I made when I was a kid. But there's more here; The upside down U is a house protecting the 6 friends inside the house. Well, maybe that's a bit far out, but it sure is a nice piece of art!

Great butterfly, Brea. The colors stand out so much when enlarged it looks like a puffy pillow. If you make us one we can mount it on the loft railing. It will fly over us while we're eating. ??

Brea, I once was told that often the person looking at the art sees more than the artist saw when doing the art. In this artwork I see the skull and I see the Navajo influence. But I also see a cat. Huh? A cat? Well, the skull makes the body of the cat, the horns make the arms/front legs raised up,, and the sharp peaks make ears. Toss in the neat little red curly-cues for eyes and I see a cat. The cat even has a belt with a heart shaped buckle on it. ?? But too keep it simple; I like your mixed media picture.

Liking the mixed medium! I can see the skull, but not sure what animal you where honoring, did your teacher tell you what it was from? Sometimes when I create my stained glass pieces I find cool rocks and add those in. I'll pick the colors of the glass to represent the area I found the rocks:-)

Nice picture of Northern Lights! The way you've drawn them makes it seem as if they are coming and going just like the real norther lights do. Good choice of colors. Grandpa K

I really like this one, Breanne. I like the black and white contrast. (Ask your mom to explain "contrast."It's probably too wide for Grandma's refrigerator but will fit on the mantel by the dinning table. I'll try and find a way to print it.

Breanne, this is really a neat piece of art. Can you make one for Grandma's frig? I like the way the quilted ball seems to put a dip in the blue and pink background. Three Cheers!!! Grandpa K.
