Wonderful Horse Cora! And a very cute saddle blanket with a scalloped edge. I hope there are lots of horses in your future. You’ve mastered drawing for sure. Love Grammy

These are super portraits Cora! And when you change the colors of the figure and the background, it resembles Andy Warhol’s work.
I know this is done with a printing method…maybe linocut….
but I’m not sure what kind of printing.

Beautiful! Perhaps you can fill it with some of the shells you gathered on the beach in Florida.

Cora, this is a lovable skull. Not scary, but lovable and cute! I love the heart-shaped nose and the flower eyes. And he seems to be smiling. ??. Of course pink is my favorite color because it makes my happy, and he’s pink! Love Grammy ??

Cora dear, your art just keeps getting better and better. Is this a snake? It’s so realistic! And I love the jaunty little beanie. All these extras in the background look like a fun explosion. Have fun during your last year of making art at WestWood View. ??????

WOW. You said that sketching Christina's legs was the hardest thing about this piece, because you wanted to show that she was crawling toward the barn and not just lounging in the grass. It's really, really good! I recognized it immediately when you brought it home. Love, Mom

This kind of looks like 'The Scream' without her hands grasping her face. I love the colors and the background, which reminds me of peacock feathers. Beautiful!

This reproduction of Wyeth’s Christina’s World is so well done Cora! I love it. You are very skilled at drawing and color choices. Cannot wait to see your art making blossom as you grow.

I just love this snake painting! Is it a python? Or a boa constrictor? Cora, you are so talented and creative. I am looking at the tongue, the eyelashes, the hat and the single shoe for a footless snake. Maybe a snake is the mascot for Westwood View School.

I just love this charcoal drawing. The shadows are really great and the details on the leaves are really beautiful. Love, Mom

Cora, I particularly like this drawing since it reminds me of my summer garden. Did you use pencil or maybe chalk to make it look so realistic? love, didi

Hi Cora, Your latest artwork reminds me of some of the plants I had on our porch this summer. Looking at the image online, it looks as if you had used soft pencil or chalk to achieve such flowing lines? I will be curious to hear more about it from you. Love, DiDi

I like the mixed media you used for this piece. I would love a cup of hot cocoa on this cold day! He looks very excited to drink it.
