Jackson, I have loved all your artwork this year, but this is the most delicious-looking by far! I can tell that’s a strawberry scoop on top, but I’m not sure what the other two are. You’ve made great progress with your art since the beginning of kindergarten, and I expect that will continue into first grade.

Love the lilacs! They look as pretty as they smell.

This is beautiful, Jackson. Even without knowing what the project involved, I could tell it was a large field of red poppies. You’ve really handled scale well, too. That’s when things up close in the picture appear larger than those farther back in the picture. I love your artwork!

I really love your cat artwork, Jackson. It looks like a cat that is thinking a lot about mice and cheese. But then, what else would a cat be thinking of? Keep up the good work. You really have artistic talent.

Remember all those Ghost Crabs we saw running around the beach in Florida, Jackson. Well, your new artwork looks like it could be one of those crabs. It brings back wonderful memories of our time on vacation together.

So, is that a bear or a big dog that looks like a bear? I love the fishhook nose. If it’s a bear, it can catch a lot of fish with its nose. Love your artwork, Jackson. Keep up the great work!

Just like you, Jackson, your artwork is full of heart. Actually, it’s full of hearts. I’m guessing this was a Valentine’s Day project at your school. Looks like you have separate hearts to share with your mom, dad, Sittoo and Giddoo. Love you!

Your latest artwork looks like a flirtatious bird that had an owl and a penguin as parents. I love your creativity, Jackson. Keep it up!

It’s harder for me to make out what’s going on in this drawing. It seems like that could be a bird’s nest up at the top. But the things at the bottom look a bit sinister, like a rodent clawing its way up to the nest. Nice use of colors to create a mood.

Jackson, I can see your love of animals in this drawing. I can see either a tiny whale or shark, a sea tortoise, a bunny, a mouse, a goose a butterfly and a pudgy orange creature. I love your imagination. Keep drawing. You have a talent for it.

I really like this one, Jackson! I call it “The duck man” because it looks like the profile of a duck’s head while, at the same time, like a man winking one eye and holding something in his white-gloved hand. I really enjoy trying to find people, animals and things in your drawings, even if you didn’t always intend for them to be there.

Love your weaving artwork, Jackson. Your Sittoo is quite the weaver, so she’ll enjoy it, too. Keep up the great work! You have a lot of talent.

It’s fun to look at your artwork, Jackson, and try to find different things in it. It’s kind of like looking up in the sky and seeing what the clouds remind me of. I can see a bison in the middle of the picture. Thanks for sharing your art with us.

What a beautiful fall drawing, Jackson. It looks like a bright red leaf is making a gentle trip to the ground through a blue Autumn sky. Love it!

I love Jackson’s artistic talents. He certainly knows how to make use of the color red to make an impact on the viewer. And, I think I see a few abstract animals hidden in the picture. Keep up the good work, Jackson!
