Hi Blake-O! You know I saw this when I was at your house/ it surprised me because I could really see the shape and dimension of your hand. I am interested in this water color and really like the attention you have brought to the leaves by putting complementary colors behind your leaves so that they stand out .. purples and yellows oranges and blues make for an exciting color combination. Fun use of the brush and medium all mixing and flowing into each other... THIS IS REALLY COOL. my eye goes right to that beautiful strong purple you used at the bottom right thru to the top right. NIIIICE.

OOOoooh BLAKE, THIS is amazing. I LOVE this. Wonderful for the winter season. I can feel the cold weather and the chilly night just by looking at this painting.exactly what a true artist is able to get the viewer to do -- TO FELL SOMETHING... I really like the way the dark sky around the moon changes from light into a bit darker. JUST LIKE THE REAL NIGHT SKY LOOKS. This is a perfect winter painting. Blake again you are showing a really wonderful usage of watercolor and making the application of it stay in the back ground, just like it would look underwater. Ohh My, my artist BLAKE! I love this work. You know what I especially like about the piece? The textures and colors of the background. Just like real snowflakes that fall upon everything that is bumpy and smooth and sometimes spikey and sometimes COLORFUL, your snowflakes have a wonderful background to fall down upon and swirl around.
