Order me a pair! It's very realistic and very good. Are you SURE you don't want to be an artist? Such talent that you didn't get from me!!

Excellent left foot. If it is meant to be a right or neutral, too bad. I have brought my twisted prespective to your work. You are growing in all ways and your gifts are many. If art gives you as much pleasure as sports and music and books and learning, you will be the guy you chose to be in your adult life. I hope you share it all with me as the interested observer.

nice work..flowing and colorful and strong. All that artistic stuff. Mug material. Have a great time in Michigan. Keep only the fish you wish to clean. kh

Wow, Eamonn. This work is worthy of Harry Potter's darkest dreams - a scary bird but in a beautiful landscape. It's very dramatic. Nice work! xxoo Grandma

There is a hint of spring showers in the air, right? So happy to see new art work, knowing your busy schedule doesn't always allow for extras. This one might be cool as a cutting board.

Posted 15 years ago
When I opened this, my immediate reactions was "This is a very POWERFUl piece" My next thought was "woa, those talon are really SCARY!" I am anxious to show it to Sabrina and Camille. Keep that artwork comin' boy!

Wow Eamonn. Are you sure you don't want to be an artist rather than a scientist? This is fabulous, in both color and design - although it is a little spooky, too. I'd like to see the original when you have a chance. xxoo Grandma

Hey Eamonn! Long time no see! It's been a while since I've seen a peice of you artwork...but I personally think this is your best by far. It's deffinatly my favorite! Say "Hi" to everyone for me, and tell them that the Barbellas send their love.

Worth the wait to see new art piece. Like the color choices especially. No loose teeth in this guy. Kay

Like your color choices very much. Another good place to collect coins, if it is well glazed. Or it might be a bit fragile. We still have to get to the bank with some change. Hope to see you very soon.

I love the colors you chose. Nice job! "Pinch" one for me anytime! Grandma Harty

Okay, that's one scary mask. I'm sure the demons would stay away if I wore it or if you did. Maybe you should print it out. Very nice job. You're my favorite nine year old artist. xxoo Grandma
Posted 16 years ago
Africa has the oldest human history anthropoligists say. Masks and simple tools are at the roots. I think you have captured the joyous simplicity in your art. There you go. KH

Our favorite artist has produced another masterpiece! Your shapes are really unusual (ok, maybe I've seen arrows before!) and I love the overall impression. Keep producing great art and we'll keep loving it. xxoo Grandma and Grandbunk

Eamonn, Mrs. H. told me that the other students were asking 'Who made the cool jellyfish?' They were so impressed by your creativity!

Posted 16 years ago
Hey Eamonn, It's Sabrina! Just saw your psitive/negative artwotk. Very cool! Keep up the good work! I can't wait for your next masterpice!
Posted 16 years ago
Is this fish going to walk away before anyone can catch it? He looks to me that he is looking for a meal. Nice work, very imaginative. kh
Posted 16 years ago
Hey Eamonn, It's Sabrina. Just saw your jellyfish...cool! I was gonna buy a t-shirt with your drawing on it...but I don't have enough money. I'd better start saving up for when you make the new vincent van gough!
Posted 16 years ago
I love stuffed fish! We Italinas have a big feast of fish on Christmas eve. HOWEVER, we do not eat stuffed jelly fish, (although this does look mighty tasty!) Mrs. B
Posted 16 years ago
Wow, this is really neat, Eamonn. The movement of the lines is a great way to have the viewer "feel" the water. Tell your teacher that I said "GOOD PROJECT!" Love, Mrs. B
Posted 17 years ago
Hooray, you included an octopus! I can see why this is one of your favorites. Another great year in art for Eamonn. Mom
Posted 17 years ago
This is so great! I wish we had a picture of you wearing it. I know you picked the three colors to tell a story but the way you used them is really striking. I hope we can learn about other cultures' art together. Love, Mom
Posted 17 years ago
This dude is COOL! WHat's his name?
Posted 17 years ago
Finally I was able to see your weaving. I love the colors! Could you weave me a shirt? I am such a fan of your art. Let's go to the art museum and draw together again. xxoo Grandma
Posted 17 years ago
Looks pretty intricate. You show patience and fine skills .... (not much new there). I wonder what this would look like translated to cloth? They probably don't allow sharp instruments in 2nd grade, but such colors and pattern would look good as a pillow or a quilt. Nice work. Love ya, Kay
Posted 17 years ago
Great job Eamonn - I'm wondering how long it took to do. I read that you will make this into a placemat so I want you to imagine how long it would take to weave threads into a shirt !!!!! Or the flag in front of your school!!!! Or the huge sail on a ship!!!! That should make putting your dishes in the sink sound like an easy job. Great job Grandpa
Posted 17 years ago
These pictures just get better all the time. And this one tells a lot about the artist. Pictures tell a story about what the artist sees in their world, and this one has a beautiful sky. Blue skies to you always!!!!!
Posted 17 years ago
Excellent drawing. The guy kind of looks like....let's see....you! Well done. I love the background, too. Did you draw the goals? They are amazing, and I love the airplane. Nice touch. xxoo Grandma
Posted 17 years ago
I love the clouds in this piece. I don't know how Dad will feel about your putting the player in a Newcastle uniform. At least the color of the sky is Manchester City's. -Mom
Posted 17 years ago
I love your soccor picture! This is Sabrina, by the way. This picture is the best one yet! At least, I think so! From, Your friend, Sabrina P.S. I miss you guys! We'll have to get together sometime soon, okay?
Posted 17 years ago
Nice job. This guy looks happy to be on the soccer field on a sunny day. Or would he rather be flying off to see the world cup? Either way you do know storytelling in pictures. Kay
Posted 17 years ago
I love it! Just your style. Love, Dad
Posted 17 years ago
What a funny looking guy! I love all the colors, though. I want a pair of orange and purple shoes. I never thought a skeleton would make me laugh but this one did. Well done. xxoo Grandma
Posted 17 years ago
Dandy work here. Life should always be a joyful dance. I wish my old bones were that flexible in real life, but think they are in the pretend world.
Posted 17 years ago
Eamonn, I was very lucky to see a lot of Miro's work when I was in Spain. When I saw your piece, I felt like I was back in Madrid but this time you were with me. It's as if you used letters made up by Miro, and arranged them to make words by you. I really, really love this work. Thank you for working so hard on it and making it special. Love, Mom
Posted 18 years ago
Eamonn, This MAY BE my favorite one yet! I LOVE how it looks like one big scene- like something in a Dr. Seuss book, you know what I mean. I don't know too much about Miros work, though. Maybe you can e-mail me and tell me a little more about the artist? Mrs. B
Posted 18 years ago
A new year and you keep getting better! Love, Mom and Dad
Posted 18 years ago
Nice work. Is the astrological or earthly? When things are in the abstract, the artist can explain, but the viewers can make their own choices. That's the best part of art. Kay
Posted 18 years ago
Another winner! Grandbunk loves it, too. I like the way it looks like both mountains and seashore (with the waves) and a red rainbow arching over. Well done. xxoo Grandma
Posted 18 years ago
Eamonn, I love your "Starry Night" picture. IT ROCKS!!! -Sabrina B.
Posted 18 years ago
Did you know Van Gogh was inspired by another painting to paint his "starry night" just like you were inspired by Van Gogh to create yours? I guess you must be a great artist, too. Grandbunk
Posted 18 years ago
I thought I could not love any art that you have done more than the bowl of fruit, but I really, really love this one. I hope you have the original drawing so that we can frame it. You're the best! Love, Grandma
Posted 18 years ago
When kids investigate the world from as many sides as they can, they make this world so much better. It's a joy to see you draw and hear your jokes and lectures. It would be great to keep in touch with your imagination all through the years you grow.
Posted 18 years ago
WOWWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW! Guess what, buddy? I knes exactly what this was a supposed to be modeled after even before I scrolled down and saw title. and....in the end.....I think I prefer yours to VanGoughs!
Posted 18 years ago
Very interesting piece! One time I went to a big art museum in England. It is called the "Tate Modern". I saw lots of work similar to this piece. Maybe one day your work will be in a big museum, huh? Maybe one day people will line up to look at it. (you won't make your ol' pal Mrs. B wait in some big, long line will ya?)
Posted 18 years ago
I forgot to tell you that my tee shirt just came with your art on it. I'll wear it and show you as soon as it's warm enough. Grandma
Posted 18 years ago
Wow. You are both an artist and a scientist. This looks to me like 3 cells or amoeba (know what they are?) overlapping each other and changing color. I love your use of color and the brown in the middle to hold them all together. Great work. xxoo Grandma I love it, too. I'll add it my collection of your artwork that is helping me with my art. Grandbunk

LOVE the picture! Sabrina
Posted 18 years ago
All I can say is "Boogie Woogie"; this looks just like Mondrian's famous painting. Excellent job! Grandbunk
Posted 18 years ago
Wow Eamonn. This is amazing! I can't imagine how you did this, so you'll have to show me. You know, I just ordered a tee shirt with your picture of the fruit basket on it. I love that picture but now that I've seen this one, I think a shirt with this picture would make a great gift for Grandbunk. Shhh. Don't tell him. Love, Grandma
Posted 18 years ago
This piece is so great! You really seemed to understand what Mondrien was like but also made a piece that's uniquely YOU. You are strong and colorful and playful - just like this piece. Love, Mom
Posted 18 years ago
I love the bold colors and lines in this piece! You balanced the picture very well by choosing just the right colors for each box. Really, really nice, Eamonn! Keep em' comin" Mrs. B

I am just seeing this picture. I LOVE IT!!! Sabrina

Rockin snowman - has everything including an extra flake in case he starts to melt This is great - but I can't wait till we start on those rockets. Spring will be here pretty quick and I am anxious to see your artwork for that time. Grandpa
Posted 18 years ago
I, grandbunk, really liked all of your art work. I liked the snowman for its humor, the turtle because I love turtles and you made a good one, the fruit bowl for its composition (the way you arranged the fruit) and the woven multicolored one for its imagination and its avant garde subject matter (that means it is new and different). Congratulations.
Posted 18 years ago
I love this snowman. I think I will have it made into Christmas cards for next year. Great job! - Grandma
Posted 18 years ago
Eamonn3, LOVE the turtle! It's sooo cute!!! Your Friend, Sabrina B.
Posted 18 years ago
This is one smokin turtle dude - looks like both a zodiac and a clock on his back - hope you are having as much fun doing these as we all are seeing them. Grandpa
Posted 18 years ago
Woah! Cool turtle, buddy! The girls are gonna love this one! Mrs. B.
Posted 18 years ago
Dear Eamonn, I love all your work, but I think this is my favorite. I love the bright colors and the way you made it sitting on the table. I can't wait to see what you create next! Love, Mrs. B

Dear Eamonn, Try to do more work as good as you con! I hope you always have a good time in your club! Love, Camille

Eamonn, I really, really like the weaving picture. It's very colorful and I did something like it in third grade. Keep up the good work! Sabrina
