I want to be in this art gallery sitting on the bench!

Wow! I definitely want to hear what inspired this artwork! Its 3 dimensional balance seems slightly tenuous but at the same time, the subject matter inspires a sense of nighttime wonder.

I immediately anticipated a cartwheel coming when I saw this! You have captured the moment before it happened. How fun is that!

This is such a cool sculptural piece! The photo really doesn't do it justice. The layered organic shapes almost convey a sense of movement, and I really like how the colors you used work together so well. Nice work!!
Posted 2 years ago by Ryan (fan)
I love the cool and mysterious vibe you've created with that beautiful night time sky. The watercolor effect reminds me of the aurora borealis. I also like how this contrasts with the black and white illustration style of the landscape. Nice work!!
Posted 2 years ago by Ryan (fan)
This is cool. Love the stary night sky and 3D line work. Good use of patterns to show mountain shadows and caves.

Wow! This is such a cool illustration of a dream catcher!! I love the careful quality of your line work and the colors you use really go together well with each other (and they also go well with the brown paper). I especially like how you used white to accent and highlight things. Those feathers are really cool the way you added the parallel lines to hint at their texture. Nice work!!

This is so cool!! This silhouetted scene totally reminds me of Joshua Tree and I love the colors you used and how you rendered the sky!??

This is a very striking and beautiful portrait of Lady Liberty! I wonder how you created that interesting background texture and how you rendered the high contrast illustration so accurately. Nice job!!

What a beautiful peacock? I like how you managed to somehow convey that this peacock is proud to show his feathers. Those colors you chose work really well on a black background too. Nice work!

I love it Nina! The watercolor and the mushroom too.

Cool! I love how the varying textures and colors and patterns all work together in very interesting ways. The white parts that may be unintentional are especially neat!
Posted 3 years ago by Ryan
I love how the background looks like tie-dye, and your line work with thick and thin lines is really well-done. Super charming composition. I love it!
Posted 3 years ago by Ryan
The subdued colors and fuzzy/soft nature of your fills and line work in this composition almost have a soothing quality to them. The longer I look at it the more relaxed I feel. Thx!
Posted 3 years ago by Ryan
Nice work, Nina! I like how you used different hues of green for the various types of foliage and how the background and the tree in the foreground has a nice texture to it. That jaguar sure looks ready to pounce on me--yikes! So cool!!
Posted 3 years ago by Dad
Nice drawing. I like all the details of each different plant. Spots are cool too.

That is a fierce Chinese dragon! I love it! The Asian-style clouds are really cool as well.

I see you made this skull full of love by using hearts and flowers in the design. Even the marigold flower is kind of heart shaped too. She also looks like she is smiling. Wonderful.
Posted 4 years ago by Uncle Nelson
Oh wow. So colorful and full of expression. It's good that you are learning different styles of art. Good job.
Posted 4 years ago by Uncle Nelson
Wonderful creature. Does he have a name? He blends well with his envitronment. You caught him in action. Is that a snack or his dinner? When you cannot think of something to draw, just look around and you will find something to practice improve your drawing skills. Good job.

I like this picture of your family and want to see more!

Is this a happy face? The flower and "smile" makes me think so!

Nina, I really like the fact that you are so observant. I am wondering if you saw this is a scene in nature or out on your back patio?
Posted 4 years ago by NanaJ
Great job, Nina! This sugar skull looks very authentic while at the same time shows your own fun and charming personal touches. Excelente!
Posted 4 years ago by Dad
It looks like you are at the beach. I like the way your family looks at each other and am happy to see you all together there!
Posted 4 years ago by Nana Jo
This is interesting. The use of colors is different. The colors are monochromatic. Here, straight lines are combined with curved lines. The ears are straight and pointed, giving the feeling of alertness, tension along with the straight legs. Contrasted with the rounded back and tail give the feeling of softness, gentleness. The cat's pupiles are similar to human pupils. Could this be a self-portrait? A drawing of how the artist felt? This drawing is very nice.
Posted 4 years ago by Uncle Nelson
This is nice. It looks photorealistic. This illustration shows balance. The top two similar brushes balance the lower two brushes. The littlest brush balances the largest brush. The color of the bottom line transitions well from red to blue showing analogous colors. The green and blue colors at the top are also analogous to each other.
Posted 4 years ago by Uncle Nelson
Aha! These are familiar looking jelly fish, but I really love how you painted them in your own unique way. I also liked how use used bright primary colors and slightly darker ones to create an interesting contrast for the details.
Posted 4 years ago by Dad
Nina, You showed the bees at their busiest best! Do you think bees have fun too? Or, are they a little too serious about their work?
Posted 4 years ago by Nana
Hi Nina! I love this picture. The dark and light aqua blues make it feel close and far away. It gives the picture depth and movement. I also like the contrasting yellows, and purple. Good job!
Posted 4 years ago by Auntie Michele
Nina, I am wondering what the polar bear is feeling? Does she look friendly to you? She looks like she just stopped walking and is looking at me. What would she want you to know?
Posted 4 years ago by Nana J
Hey, this looks familiar! I can tell you are very careful and deliberate with your color choices and placement so that it’s all together pleasing to the eye and well crafted. It feels like a happy mosaic!
Posted 4 years ago by Ryan
The flowing line work here is so well done and easily recognizable as Van Gough, but with its own unique charms as well. Great job! It’s a beautiful scene.
Posted 4 years ago by Ryan
So cool!!! I love how you drew the polar bear and added texture for the fur. And the way you illustrated the aurora borealis/northern lights with this colors is so well done! That’s not an easy thing to do! Wow.
Posted 4 years ago by Ryan
Very interesting artwork. There are multiple transparent layers stacked over each other creating images within images.

I love the watercolor-like quality of your line work, Nina! It almost reminds me of a map with a horse-shaped body of water. Nicely done!
