Cory, That is a great-looking Olympic Medal! I think it must be gold, but it's hard to tell in the picture. It could be bronze, too. What is it made out of? I wonder if it is as heavy as a real Olympic medal? You'll have to let me know. Love you, Grammy

Cory, This is so cool! It looks like a beautiful piece of stained glass. I can't tell if you drew the black lines first, or colored the background first, but they go together perfectly! Love it! And I love you! Grammy Vera

Cory, I had to look up what "blind contour" drawing was, and saw that it means you drew it without looking at the paper! It looks amazing! and is so cool! You'll have to tell me more about how you did it. Love you, Grammy

Cory, I got to see and hold this piece of artwork! It must have been hard to put 2 scoops of ice cream on there, and hold it together with paper mache. You'll have to teach me how to do that. I love the colorful sprinkles! Good job! Love you, Grammy

Hi, Cory! Your treats look yummy! I'm not sure I would know how to make a picture look 2D, but you did a great job! The candy dish looks tall, with 2 levels. I also like your checkered tablecloth. I have one just like it! Keep up the creative artwork! Love you, Grammy

Cory, This picture is so interesting. I think the assignment was "still life". It looks like trees growing from the ground, but I'm not sure of the rest. I would really like to hear how you came about drawing these things. I'll ask you next time we talk! Love you lots and lots!

Cory, I like the colors you used. I see a pumpkin in your picture and maybe some feathers. What else was in the still life that is in your drawing? Love, Grandma Korie

Hi Cory! It looks like you drew your picture on a map, around Michigan and Lake Superior. I'm not sure if there are pyramids in Michigan, but they do have sand dunes, so maybe there are! They smaller ones look like they're made out of sand. Good job! Love you, Grammy Vera
