I really like the Spider Dance piece. It stands out well online. I can't wait to see them all in person! Love your artwork and you so much!

Love these! I want to listen to the songs while I look at the paintings. Maybe you can help me with that.

Love the image you created! And that two tone image is very cool!

Hi, Trice! Welcome to the wonderful world of printmaking! I really like the way you are exploring the idea of multiple versions of images, even doing a color-switch. It's one of the most intriguing things, the different ways you can use an image over and over. Congratulations! .

They looked cheery!!(even if poisonous!) love the colors!

Nice work kiddo. I like how it mixes 3D and 2D together. Did the hydrangea inspire the reference or did the reference inspire the hydrangea?

Very nice! I like your color sense. Music is a great source of inspiration. Grandma Leslie

When I originally glanced at this artwork, the colors drew me in, specifically the ones in the center that looked (at first glance) like berries, but after I read your artist statement, I realized they were gems! Both the art and the artist statement prompted me to go and read about “Steven Universe” and the episode that was mentioned as inspiration for this piece and I feel like I understand it a lot better now. It seems to be a wonderful visual representation of that particular episode with the gems resting and balancing on top of one another and with the swirling circle of butterflies all around the outer side of the gems. I love it so much more after learning about the inspiration and because of the symbolism it represents!

I keep looking at this, trying to imagine the rest of the dragon. I feel like I can sense it’s emotion just by seeing the eye.

I can’t believe you made this digitally! Fwip is fantastic!
- Carolyn (Mother) on January 3, 2023

I think you did a really fantastic job on this one! I love the colors, contrasting, shading and textures you created by blending multiple colors together with your fingers! It’s awesome that you filled up the whole page with color. I feel like I can see (feel) the cracks in the dragon’s leather-like skin! Plus, it’s pretty

I love the look of this artwork! You chose a really nice color palette too! I feel like it’s something I would choose at an art gallery to purchase and hang in my home as a triptych! Also, now I’m going to have to google the pitcher plant!

I love these so much! SO MUCH FUN!! The mushrooms are my fave! It makes me reminiscent of my middle and high school days for 2 reasons. First, my FAVORITE math assignments/HW ever were images made by plotting numbers along X+Y-axes as a result of algebraic equations. I think it was just a ‘me thing’ though; not everyone loved that homework as much as I did. The second thing it reminds me of is (lol) if we got caught in school with gum, we’d need to write “NO GUM” in every single graph-paper square (1 or 2 sided depending). I used to write my friends punishments for them b/c I had so much fun making pictures along the way to filling out the entire page!

Really neatTrice. Like the color combinations too!! Nice work!!

I love this one so much! The colors you chose for the ocean are so calming and work so well to help emphasize the Black and white shark & it’s patterns! —And I absolutely LOVE practicing the Zentangle method! I find it helps keep me grounded and eases my anxiety. Plus, the end result is always (or usually, in my case) so beautiful!

I appreciate this self-portrait that you made of yourself. I wonder if you were to repeat this project over again this year, might there may be a couple of things you would choose to portray differently? I have found that with each year, I gain some new understanding of myself (still!) and I also continue to change—or evolve- each year too. I like this piece because I feel like it lets me know and understand you a little bit more, a bit better. I also see a reflection of my own self in this piece.

Again, I know that this is from last year (I guess I’m late to the gallery show!), but I wanted to tell you I liked your frog here. It looks like (to me) that it is maybe a frog princess with a fondness for peanut butter, and drawn in almost a kawaii-style? (Am I close?)

I realize that this is from last year, but I have always loved the moon and I love seeing artworks that feature the moon. I really like this piece you made and am interested in maybe hearing more about how you made it.

This is beautiful Trice. Faces are so challenging to draw but you did a great job. I like the words you chose to include as well and how you used different fonts for each one.
- Dad on May 25, 2022
I like this. Especially the two sided nature. For a long time I was torn by my different sides and tried to resolve them. It wasn't until I was older that I said the heck with it and tried to do the best to let them co-exist. Still not easy though.

I can imagine Herbert J. on the mountains, looking up at the northern lights from the edge of his alpine pond. It all fits together so well! And I particularly like the shadows in the mountains and alpine pond!

Hey, Trice. Very cool shark. Love the patterns, especially the yin/yang symbol, one of my favorites! Good work! Love, Grandma Leslie

This is such a cool piece of art Trice! There is a lot to discover when you look closely at each piece, and then when you look at sections together!
- Dad (Father) on March 21, 2022

All of the different designs blend so well to make, what is definitely, a very cool shark! Great work kiddo!
- Dad (Father) on March 21, 2022
I LOVE THIS! Did you know that the black triangle motif is a traditional Polynesian and Maori design sometimes used to represent the shark, specially it's teeth? In many cultures the shark represents strength, protection and guidance.
