Reminds me of Starlord's cassette from Guardians of the Galaxy, very retro chic!

Looks like a modern interpretation of the Andy Warhol version! I like the colors you used and the blending of the different colors together to achieve texture. Very nice portrait work especially since you don't do them often.

The wood detail on the door and frame are really good! Nice work on making a smurf hut!

Sammie, this is great! I love it. I feel Alice in the vortex and other objects from the story falling in as well. You have great movement and placement of objects. Terrific work - you're a natural sculptor!

I like the perspective, it really looks like she's falling into a vortex. I like all the little details of items that are swirling around. Nice work!

Love this comic strip. While I agree with some of your comments about improving how the hands are drawn, I think you really captured the movement of these figures. I think it's terrific.

I like the texture on the penguin, it really looks like the feathery softness of a baby penguin. The zebra texture that you made as a test of the technique was also really good.

Hi Sammie, Love how you are trying different techniques. You handled the paper clip scratch out very well, especially with how you created the look of fur on the penguin. I agree with you about too much shadowing, but you did show your light source very well. This was a great learning experience for you. You will only get better in your artwork because you have lots of talent and creativity!

The texture and shading on the brick wall is just right. There is a real sense of the light hitting the bricks behind and below the lantern. Think about the shape of the bottom of the lantern before you change it. It mimics the curve of the top of the lantern and ties it together. Great job on this pencil drawing!

Sam, it looks really nice, I like the texture of the bricks and the details on the lamp!

I like the detail on the lantern and the bricks really seem to pop with the shadowing!

This one is cute, maybe you should draw one with the tail in her curved upright position.
