I enjoyed seeing this one in person! It reminds me of a snow globe. I like how it feels like the middle is coming out of the page.

Love the dimensional work you have done, and the colors you have chosen. It's a very soothing piece of art.

Love the ombré of colors! My eye was drawn to the center of the water color, like following a path through the center of mountains to the summit.

Once again you have done an amazing job with contrasts! Not only with the colors you chose, but all of the patterns and objects as well. Kudos to the artist in the family!

How I love the perspective that used with the choice of assorted colors!

Haidyn, This reminds me exactly of what I was seeing while I was standing under my big Maple tree a few weeks ago. It was an amazing feeling looking up into all of the different shades of color, and all of the different branches going every which way. Of coarse I only have the one huge Maple tree, but I can only imagine that this is what it would look like to me if I had more than one to stand under. This is one of my favorites of your work so far!

Haidyn, I really was surprised when I saw this one, and how you used the shadowing....how creative and imaginative.

Haidyn, I love your recent work. It was really hard to choose. I chose one mousepad for me, so I could think of you all of the time (which is a considerable amount of time), and one for a gift. Your great-grandma Ann was an artist too. Her special painting hangs in my kitchen. Keep up the good work, and never give up this artistic talent you have.

HAIDYN, I REALLY LIKE THIS PIECE OF WORK. IT SOMEHOW REMINDS ME OF LACE, OR SPIDERWEBS, AND I LOVE HOW YOU SECTIONED OFF THE DIFFERENT COLORS, AND THAT THEY ARE SOFT AND JUST BLEND ONE INTO ANOTHER. GREAT WORK FROM MY FAVORITE! ARTIST!

I like your use of coils to make your little pot. Think it is cool the way the top goes from high to low to form a dip and back up a bit.

Haidyn, I really like your design this time! It is so unique and full of many shapes and colors. It makes my eyes follow it around, and then follow it around again to make sure that I didn't miss anything. You are becoming quite an interesting artist. I look forward to seeing what you create next.

Haidyn, what a cool contrast of the snow on a quiet night and the sky with the stars and snowflakes; the green trees stand out against the snow. Nice use of alternating patterns on the trees. A lovely piece of art! Love, Nanny

Another artist in the family! Your great-grandma used to paint, and there is one of hers in my kitchen. She illustrated a book too! Maybe you will consider being an artist when you grow older. You always do such interesting work. That's why I'm putting the sleigh ornament on our tree.
