Yes, absolute success! The way in which the color bands curve over the hand makes it look like there's actually a 3D hand emerging from that surface.

I love it Luke! I wonder if that dark blue patch in the water is a beast of some sort lurking below the surface :). I'm also wondering who might be living in this castle? Maybe there's a powerful wizard who is being held hostage by an evil King and Queen!
