Wow! Very pretty heart. Is it supposed to be a looking glass/mirror? I do like the pretty patterns & designs you put around it, especially the way they change from the circular shape surrounding the looking glass to the heart shape on the outside! Very creative!

What a cute little pot you made! Perfect for keeping something small in on your dresser! I like the yellow background and green zigzag you decorated it with. Nice job.

What a beautiful girl you are & what beautiful things I learned about you in this self portrait picture! The painted background is perfect because it is COLORFUL just like YOU are!!

That is a cool cat, just like you! The way you decorated the cat's fur is great, or is that a sweater she is wearing? I really like the patterns & colors. Did you have to fold a colored piece of paper to make the head? You did a awesome job! I also like the kitty's happy face.

Wow! What a picture! Are those balconies that are on the yellow & blue striped building on the left? I love that you have a potted flower on each one! That building on the right is so creative AND colorful! It looks like a cross between a butterfly and rocket ship ready to take off. What a way to travel!

Adie, I love this picture! I really like that you surrounded the single tulip flower with all the pretty hearts! The blue color reminds me of the beautiful blue springtime skies we will be having soon and the tulip makes me think of the new flowers that will be sprouting!

This is such a cool picture, Adie! I like everything about the picture, but I especially like the sweater that the cat is wearing. Keep up the great work!!!

This is a very fun picture, Adie! You really have me wondering what went pop? Was it the sunshine in the picture popping onto the scene? You’ll have to tell me some time. Either way, great work!

Great job with the bowl, Adie! The patter reminds me of Charlie Brown’s shirt, which is a pattern I’ve always really liked. Keep up the great work!

This latest work is very, very cool and creative, Adie! I really like the way that the picture of you is in black and white, but then the background is in color. I also really enjoyed reading all the things you said about yourself. Your nice, thoughtful personality really came through in the little tidbits of information. Great job!

I love your self portrait Adie! While I knew some of these statements, I didn’t realize winter is your favorite season!

This is a really cool picture, Adie! I’m interested to hear how you made it. The picture looks like it could be a post card or a picture you would see hanging on a wall somewhere. Great job! Keep up the great work!!!

Wow, Adie! This is a really good picture! There is so much great detail. The eyes are very good. I also like the background design. You're a very talented artist! Keep up the great work!!!

What a great job you did with this self-portrait! You got the lips and eyes just right. Best of all, the lines you drew and the way you colored the hair really makes it appear to be wavy, just like your hair is. Fantastic picture!

What a beautiful picture! I love the way the colors all blend together and the way the trees reflect off the ground. Are they supposed to be reflecting in puddles on a rainy day? I can’t wait for you to tell me.

This is such a cool picture, Adie! What immediately caught my eye was how the trees are reflected in the water. I also appreciate how you used a mixture of brighter and darker colors. All in all, great work! Keep it up! I'm looking forward to seeing what you do next!!!

This is such a cool picture, Adie! Your creativity shines through in everything you do. I like everything about this picture, but in particular, the stripes on both structures add good contrast. And the building that also looks like a butterfly is just all-around awesome. Keep up the great work!!!

Great job with your name picture! I really like the way you made block letters and colored each one with the same stripes (pink, aqua & yellow-your favorite). The background also looks really cool. I love how you split it into sections and colored different designs in each one. Very nice!!

YUM!! That watermelon slice looks DELICIOUS! It looks so real I feel like I could eat it right off the page. I especially like the watermelon seeds you added. Do you remember when I taught you how to spit watermelon seeds and we planted a few in my backyard? Your picture makes me think of that summer day!

This is a really cool picture, Adie! I like how you used the bubbles to create patterns and how the letters all use the same pattern of colors.

What a pretty butterfly! What a good job you did of making both sides almost exactly the same. Just the way butterflies are in nature!

Wow! What a colorful town!! I bet I can guess the name...is it Rainbow Town? I really like how your used paint for the background and then used different colors all the house parts. Very nice!!

Hi Adonia! As usual, I really like this picture. You chose great colors, and you did a nice job with all the small details, like the dots on the wings, the bubbles along the butterfly's body, and the balls at the end of its antennae. Keep up the fantastic work!!!

Wow, Adie, what a cool picture! You really did a great job of capturing the theme of a "1st bright village." The picture seems really bright and happy, just like you! I'm interested to know if you have thought about who might be living in the houses? You have such a great imagination, so I'm looking forward to hearing more about this village the next time we talk. As always, keep up the fantastic work!!!

This is a really cool picture, Adonia! Have you ever had alphabet soup before? If not, you'll have to try it. The next time we talk you'll also have to tell me how you got that spoon to look like real metal. It's very interesting how it seems to shine. As usual, you did a great job with this picture. Keep up the great work!!!!

WOW! This is an interesting piece of artwork!! I like the pink background. It looks like a very pretty placemat for the plate, napkin & spoon. Is that an alphabet pancake?? It looks good enough to really eat!!

I really like how you matched the colors on the word "CHINA" and the shapes that you drew. Did you do this picture around the time of the Olympics? Are the shapes supposed to represent the different countries that participated in the games? I can't wait for you to tell me about this drawing!

I love this one and think it is one of my favorites from your portfolio so far! I really like the trees in the background with all the pretty colors you used on them. I also like the way you placed the snowman in the corner, so he is looking out on the rest of the picture. He is very colorful as well, which I love!

For this one, I like the many colors you used not only for the triangles, but also the rainbow border you used at the bottom of the picture. All the colors show up so nicely on the pink background you chose!

I have sooooooo many pictures that I need to look at! This first one is very creative. I like the way you put a rainbow at the top with the clouds on each side. Then, all along the bottom are raindrops showing different feelings! You used so many different expressions on each of their faces. Very nice! Great job!!

Cool picture, Adonia! I'm interested to hear what your inspiration was for the picture. Is it the Olympics? Keep up the great work!!!

Wow, Adie, another really cool picture! I like how almost everything, but especially the snow person, is all different colors. As always, great work!!!

All your pictures are so cool, Adonia! I really like how all the drops have different expressions. I really seems to play into the expression "Everything under the rainbow." As always, nice work!

This is another really cool picture, Adonia! It's interesting how you set up the spectrum of colors at the bottom and then used each of those colors in a triangle. Keep up the good work!

Love your two jack o lanterns! I like their bumpy orange skin and that they are being spooky on a dark October night.

Wow, Adie, as always you did a great job! Must have been fun making a picture of what I think is one of your favorite things: Halloween!!!

I can remember the first time the two of us painted together, Adonia. When you mostly just smeared the paint around on the paper. You have certainly come a long way. You did a great job with this picture! You'll have to ask your mother and father to show you some pictures by abstract expressionists, because this picture seems right in line with some of the stuff they do. Great work!

That is such an interesting picture, Adonia! You did a really nice job composing it. I can't wait to hear why you used mostly blue and yellow but then added a little red. You are becoming a very talented artist. Keep up the great work!

Great city Adie, I especially like the bridge and the fountain!

Adie, your artwork showing a city looks great. You did such a nice job making the bridges going over the roads, but I especially like your fountain. The way you have the water shooting up into the air is fantastic. Very creative piece of art!!
