Jena: What a wonderful use of colors. Your color block portrait is outstanding. This portrait reminds me of a woman I met while in Rhodesia. Her name was FaFa. She was known as the woman of many colors. Her rabbit ranch is well known for its very rare plaid rabbits. Not just regular plaid, and many color plaid. She also has the very rare Egg Laying Blue rabbits. . . . . but that's another story. Excellent work! Grampa Old Dog -- Grampa

Jena: Your work has advanced beyond words and worlds! When I look at "Starry Night" it reminds me of when I was a small boy flying around with my Dad in his space ship . . . We'd go from one star to another, and sometimes stop on a big star and have snow cones . . . I miss that.... Grampa Randy -- Robin

Ah-ha! Block printing, I believe . . . . correct me if I'm wrong. I can tell by your choice of colors and your beautifully symetrical composition that you are excelling far beyond your contemporaries! Keep up the good work! Grampa and Gramma Randy & Robin -- Robin

Your 101 Hawaiian Ink Print is spectacular! I enjoyed hearing about the technique you used, and love the turtle image. You are certainly a very diverse artist, and have mastered many different art forms!

Jena: "101 The Space Needle" - Love the title! Your rendition of the Needle is very original, yet basic and somewhat symbolic. What has taken this piece to the next level is your use of textiles. Yes..Yes...Yes....You've done it just right! And what would the Space Needle be without lightening! . . . It's always raining in Seattle. As I look at this piece, it brings back many memories of the Seattle Center in it's early years of music, mushrooms,....and the Beatles. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Jena: Your artwork depicting the Pink-Lipped Hug Monkey is outstanding! The colors are true and you have captured him in his pre-hug stance absolutely perfectly! Several years ago I was in Tanzania having tea at a roadside cafe when a Hug Monkey came running out of the jungle, jumped across three tables and landed on my cup of tea. He looked me right in the eye, then hugged my face and ran off. It was the highlight of my trip. Your work of art brings back that wonderful day. Keep up the excellent work!

Jena: Love! Love! Love the Camera-Headed Kitty! And the fact the she has fingers where paws should be means only one thing..... She can hold and eat an ice cream cone! What more could a cat want? Purrrrrrr-fection!!!! Keep on keepin' on. P.S. I don't know where I've been. I have missed all your wonderful artwork until now. But won't miss anymore......! What's next?..... I can hardly wait. Hurry up. Are you done yet? I'm waiting.... still waiting.......you need a pencil or crayon or paints? I could get you some . OK - I'll shut up.

Jena - You have nailed this one! Creating this assemblage of the very rare Three -Footed, Green-Winged Spotted Owl has made me realize that saving the forest and the owl is much more important than building any house on any planet, in any galaxie. Whooo-Whoooo-WhOOO!!! Save the Owl!

Jena - This self-portrait is a very interesting introspection into your inner personality. One can tell you love nature and animals because of the delicate way you are holding the little creature. Is it a mouse? I really like its face and tail, and the faces on the "thoughts" floating around your head. You are very talented!

Jena - this is outstanding! Your portrait reminds me of my Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Wombat. The first day I went to school a big bug landed on my shoulder. I thought it was going to bite me. But Mrs. Wombat smashed it and saved my life!~ Kindergarten was my best and most favorite year of school. Keep on drawing from your heart!

Oh Jena! You are too much! This amazing piece shows such creativity and imagination! What a wonderful assemblage collage you have created. The use of the camera for a head is outstanding as a camera "see's" through lenses just like the cat's eyes would! The human limbs you've added bring humor to the artwork. What a great artist you are!
