I will have to ask you about this one when I see you. I wonder if you remember the Icelandic Easter eggs that Oma Herborg sent us and we opened on Palm Sunday. Inside each one is a special saying or motto in Icelandic, like "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree."

This is a wonderful design, with contrasting bright colors! I wonder what the assignment was that inspired it.

This design certainly looks like it could be a beaded collar on a Masai person, but just as a piece of art it stands out by itself.

I like the way this castle also seems like a person's (or friendly monster's) face. The windows are like eyes with square glasses, the crenelation on top looks like red hair, and the drawbridge/front door looks like a mouth. Very interesting!

Loved your cupcake, Herborg Gigja. I like it when you use bold colors and fill the page.

English: No one thinks about showing human emotions through snow people. What a cool way to do this. I like that the background color is different for each of the snow persons. It emphasizes the different personalities. Icelandic: Engum dettur í hug að sýna mannlegar tilfinningar í gegnum snjófólk. Hvílík flott leið til að gera þetta. Mér líkar að bakgrunnsliturinn sé mismunandi fyrir hverja snjópersónu. Það leggur áherslu á mismunandi persónuleika.

I love the sun appearing with all the colors in the sky. I like that it could be a sunrise or a sunset. If it is a sunset, the weather the next day will be fine. If it is a sunrise, the weather the next day will be stormy. Do you know why?
