Your nutcracker looks like ready for the holidays. If you had more orange instead of pink could have taken it for a pumpkin Queen. Very dramatic and does want one to start thinking of the Sugar Plum Fairy rescuing the Nutcracker. Keep up the spendid work. Love Grandma

Maeve "Spring has sprung" and can't wait to get back to MN to plant our flowers and buy our vegetables for Aunt Marin to plant. Maeve We had a lot of pets at our house while your mom and aunt Marin were growing up but would not allow a parrot which am glad we had this rule. Most of them out live us and and can be very loud and noisy especially the Macaw parrot. They can also be very messy and obnoxious. Can't you see the parrot trying to tell Mrs Ryan next door that "Polly wants a cracker?" I read that Macaw parrots also get bored and lonely if they do not get enough attention. Your artwork illustrated beautifully the colors of this parrot. Great work!

Maeve Great Easter Bunny! Walked over to the park where we always walk to for you and Grace to play on the equipment and also to walk through the park. This year the landscape designers created a wonderful easter bunny character out of flowers--just emailed a picture to your mom to share it with you and Grace.Florists really did a great job on using colorful flowers to design his jacket and bouquet of flowers. Think you will enjoy seeing how creative the artist was--just like you.
