I learned that as “figure-ground alternation”. A chess board: is it red square on a black background, or black squares on a red background. Solids and voids. That’s important in architecture design. Well done.

I love this piece, Andrew. It’s so creative that you used fabric for the baskets. You’re right, they do have a more difficult life than we do. We can just turn on a faucet and we get clean water.
