August, I love your picture using the sumi-e style of painting. I didn't know what sumi-e was so I looked it up! Your ink wash looks just like the art pictures I saw in my research. Nice job!

August was laying down for bed on a Saturday night and sat up abruptly, looked at me, and said, “do you want to draw?” Of course!! This is his drawing of an Indian camping ground (at night) where there’s two tents that sleep two people each. There’s bonfires and bats flying and hanging from trees. Under the grass are worms and the yellow spotted object in the sky is the moon. After this was complete he went back to bed and fell right asleep! Inspiration had struck!
