I like how you choose asymmetry rather than symmetry, while keeping the composition balanced by moving the central square shape to the right a little bit, to balance the larger shapes happening on the left well and lower left which are visually more weighty. An exercise in positive and negative space no doubt!. These were always most fun for both in making them, and thinking about how often times in art, it isn't the main focal point you have to think about, but the negative space around it that defines it. Like the yin yang, and the deeper lessons in life that it can apply to, poles defining each-other.

This is a nice Tea Set. I love how the teapot, cup and vase match. Subtle voice of colors too! That 6-layer cake looks yummy!
