Lexi, down the street from us live 7 peacocks. They live at a place that has parties & weddings. I was just there today looking for a venue for a woman’s group I belong to. The peacocks looked just like the one you drew. Very nice. Granny

Oh, Lexi, Cardinals are my favorite bird and my favorite color. I love this painting. Did you know that Cardinals mate for life and don’t fly south in the winter? They are remarkable and resilient birds.

This reminds me of an Asian girl I saw in Thailand. We visited a school there & I gave them school supplies. They sang & danced for us. She made me an origami bird. I taught them the chicken dance & gave her my bracelet. Thanks for bringing this lovely memory back to me with your drawing.
