And now you’re educating me. I had to look up Frank Stella and read about him and his art. I’m wondering what kind of materials you used on your project and how you decided where to start. It looks like it took a lot of time to cover all the space and alternate the colors. Nice job Sweetheart!

Another masterpiece, Abby! Such detail and scale with the bike and the girl. I think the mural of community that includes the pictures created by all the grades at your school would be something to see. Keep making art!

This is my favorite, Abby! Is that the sun setting on the beach? The crab is a perfect adornment to the scene. And the flamingo has always been a favorite for me. Ask your mom about bird names for her leaders when she was in Pioneer Girls and, in particular, who Flamingo was.

Abby, you always amaze me with your artwork and this one could be my favorite picture! It reminds me of when we saw giraffes at Brookfield Zoo when you were visiting me. Good memory and great job recreating the animals! I would love to know what you learned about Tanzania in school.

This picture is BEAUTIFUL, Abby! The colors you used look so pretty together and the contrasting black and white owl really stands out. I almost always like water colors the best.
