This may be my new favorite piece. It is very interesting and some of the small imperfections add to its impact and effectiveness. I like the texture of the paper showing through the stamp ink. The stamp design is simple but interesting, and using the same stamp four times reinforces the colors. The color choices also go well together; warm on top and cool on the bottom, and the red pairs well with the blue while the orange pairs well with the green.

I really like this piece. The Japanese food lends itself particularly well to a miniature food display. It makes a connection with the highly intricate artwork that the Japanese often make.

This one is my favorite so far. I love the contract between background color and the white shoe. I also like the perspective and detail on shoe laces and lace eyelet holes. Great job Midori!
